Halliday Lighting confirm their expansion into Australia

Established sports lighting specialists, Halliday Lighting announce continued expansion of their operations into Australia with the incorporation of Halliday Lighting Australia Pty Ltd. Having already delivered a number of projects over the past year and with more in the pipeline for 2020, the step to formalise the presence of Halliday Lighting in the region was a clear one for this growing organisation.

For more than 60 years, Halliday Lighting have served the UK and overseas markets from two regional offices (in Edinburgh, Scotland and Nottinghamshire, England). Working with thousands of clients to provide them with world-class lighting for outdoor and indoor sports facilities, Halliday Lighting offer a complete turnkey solution, from initial lighting design and planning through to on-site installation and ongoing maintenance and servicing.

With an increasing number of projects installed in Australia and also in New Zealand, the move to create a presence in this region allows Halliday Lighting to help meet the growing demand for world-class sports lighting by delivering the same turnkey solutions that their existing clients benefit from. With the confirmed appointment of a local project manager, Scott Ellis, Halliday Lighting are committed to investing further in local employment opportunities and working with regional installers to strengthen and grow the local skills base and capabilities within the industry.

Alex Talton, Sales Director at Halliday Lighting, says: “Over the past 18 months, we have been building our presence in the Australian sports lighting market through our regional installers. With a number of lighting installations complete and more scheduled to start, the timing was right for us as a company to formally enter this market as Halliday Lighting Australia Pty Ltd and to firmly expand our operations into this great sports-loving country.”

Halliday Lighting provide sports lighting solutions at every level, from schools and grassroots clubs, to universities, professional clubs, and major stadium installations.

To date, finished projects in the region include the National Hockey Centre and Massey University in New Zealand and facilities throughout Victoria in Australia, including the Olympic Park Oval and Soccer Field, Redhill Recreation Reserve, and the oval at RJ Rowley Reserve.
